The Brief

To undertake daylight and sunlight assessments to support the planning application for four new detached family houses in Chiswell Green, St Albans. 

The Solution

Assessments were carried out of the new development to ensure the future occupants will receive adequate daylight and sunlight. The surrounding properties were assessed to minimise the daylight and sunlight impact on neighbours.   

The Result

The development received planning approval from St Albans City & District Council in September 2024.
