The Solution
A low-carbon energy strategy capitalising on passive design measures to maximise the fabric energy efficiency and minimise energy demand.
Highly efficient Air Source Heat Pumps with the provision of photovoltaic solar panels to generate electricity on site.
The Result
The extensive green roof system will help integrate the scheme within it’s surroundings and promote an improvement in ecological value of the site. It is also an effective SuDS feature to help protect receiving waters from pollution and minimise the risk of flooding and other environmental damage in watercourses.
The proposed photovoltaic solar panel system will be integrated within the roof to optimise all available space and provide shading to minimise solar exposure and reduce overheating risk.
